Based on a motorcycle’s prevailing technology, its market price, and the available space for our products, we develop shock absorbers that are perfectly suited to each machine. This applies to both the price and the product’s performance. Every motorcycle is assigned a suitable shock absorber type. The basic setup, the shim stack design, and the adjustment range are developed, tested, and finalized through extensive testing on racetracks and public roads. Öhlins shock absorbers are the result of rigorous testing. Öhlins produces more than 300 shock absorber models. Each model is custom-tailored for a specific vehicle.
